A nursing pathway for the robotic team
This program focuses on the nursing role at the interface between the robotic platform and the sterile field. It is distinct from the course for surgeons and assisting surgeons. Practical activities remain limited to the nurse’s professional role and institutional authorization.
Learning objectives

- Recognize safety checks, energy and cable considerations, and escalation responsibilities.

M01 — Academy & Robotic Nursing Pathway · 2 lessons
Where nursing fits in the competency framework; theoretical and practical phases and what each assesses. This synopsis introduces the first module; the lessons are accessed in your classroom.
M02 — System Overview for Nursing · 3 lessons
Platform orientation, system components and the nursing interface with the robotic team.
M03 — Safety Foundations & Checklists · 5 lessons
Safety awareness, preparation checks and the scrub nurse’s responsibilities.
M04 — Pre-op Setup, Instruments & Field Organization · 3 lessons
Preparation, instrument selection and organization of the sterile field.
M05 — Draping & Sterile Workflow · 4 lessons
Barrier handling and coordinated sterile preparation of the platform.
M06 — Instruments & Energy · 6 lessons
Instrument handling, counts, energy precautions and hardware management.
M07 — Intra-operative Flow & Team Choreography · 4 lessons
Exchanges, bedside coordination and communication during the procedure.
M08 — Troubleshooting & Critical Events · 4 lessons
Recognition, communication and nursing responsibilities during faults, critical events and conversion.
M09 — Reprocessing & Traceability · 4 lessons
Post-case handling, transport, cleaning and sterilization workflow overview, documentation and traceability.
Online foundation, then separately arranged practice
Phase I — online learning. Study the published video lessons and supporting material at your own pace within the online completion deadline.
Phase II — simulation and Dry Lab. Practical nursing activities, including docking workflow, instrumentation, bedside coordination and emergency preparation, require separate scheduling, fees and institutional arrangements.
Later clinical participation depends on professional scope, supervision and hospital authorization. Online tuition does not purchase clinical privileges or guaranteed placement.
Tuition, support and time to complete
USD 795 is a one-time payment per nurse for the online educational component. Academic mentorship, progress review and administrative coordination follow the agreement below. Practical facilities, clinical training, proctorship, travel and hospital expenses are separately arranged and charged.
The online completion deadline begins at enrollment. Practical activities follow their own scheduling and agreements. Retained classroom access does not extend the completion deadline. Extensions require a formal written request and approval. No fixed total study hours or weekly timetable is promised.
Assessment and completion
Assessment and certificate requirements are confirmed by the Academy. Access to video lessons does not by itself mean an assessment has been passed or a certificate issued. Course completion does not authorize clinical duties beyond your professional and institutional scope.
